What is Eco-Somatics?
Eco: Relating to the environment or ecosystems.

Somatic: Relating to the body

Many beings today are familiar with the mind-body connection, often explored through practices like yoga and meditation to access a more authentic and relaxed state of being. Yet, just as essential is the body-environment connection.
Eco-somatics studies how our bodies interact with the ecosystems that sustain us. By understanding how the human organism relates to the greater living organism of Mother Earth and the cosmos, we uncover natural pathways of regulation, well-being, and recovery woven throughout our somatic systems and encoded in our DNA.
Ancient reishis, monks, yogis and mystics recognized this interconnection and developed meditation and movement practices to support the well-being of their communities and ecosystems. Through Earthwise Somatics, I draw upon both modern eco-somatic studies and ancient traditions to help beings reconnect with the breath that unites us all.

Somatically Informed Bodywork
Somatically Informed Bodywork
Each session begins with 10–15 minutes of gentle breathwork, meditation, or yoga nidra to help attune to what is present within the body. This is followed by 75–90 minutes of hands-on bodywork.
I weave together modern techniques such as craniosacral therapy, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release with traditional practices such as shiatsu and Thai yoga therapy. These methods are intended to open and encourage pathways of connection within the somatic nervous system, deepening the mind-body relationship and inviting a calmer state of being.
Throughout the session, the breath remains a guiding thread, with each technique serving as a mirror — reflecting, rather than producing, the client’s own capacity to regulate and return to balance.
Duration & Cost: 90–108 minutes for $111.

Series options:
Four weekly sessions for $366

Mindful Movement
These sessions are designed for those looking to deepen their mindfulness or yoga practice. Drawing from traditional Hatha yoga, Buddhist meditation, and modern somatic awareness and release practices, each session is rooted in the healing power of the breath.
Through gentle, intentional movements, we work to realign the spine and open pathways of movement and communication within the body. For those who wish, I offer gentle physical and energetic assistance to help bring awareness to areas of the body asking for attention.
Sessions conclude with an extended Savasana or yoga nidra, with the option to receive face or foot massage or craniosacral integration for deeper relaxation and balancing.
Duration & Cost: 90-108 minutes $79 per session.
Series Options:
Four weekly sessions for $288
8 biweekly sessions for $555

Wild Embodiment Immersions
Wild Embodiment Immersions
These immersions take many forms, all with the intention of helping participants connect more deeply with their relational Self by attuning to the ecosystems that sustain them. Through meditation, prayer, ritual, and somatic awareness, participants are invited to let the body serve as guide and compass toward a more fulfilling connection with the natural world and their place within it.
This practice of relating to the Self beyond the physical body — recognizing the intricate web of relationships that support our existence — nurtures a deeper sense of belonging in a world that can often feel unfamiliar. It invites a relational familiarity our ancestors once embraced, allowing us to access the experiential wisdom of our fullest existence.

About Jeremiah
A devoted student of myth, scripture, and story, Jeremiah found that every narrative—from scripture to science—aims to explore the relationship between ourselves and the universe we inhabit: the human organism in relation to the larger organisms of Earth and Cosmos, the finite to the infinite.

He sees yoga, mindfulness, and meditation as pathways to a deeper understanding and expanded awareness of the relational dynamics and ecologies that sustain us all.

As a permaculturist and renegade ecologist, he aims to create containers of presence and belonging that allow us to cultivate personal and relational ecologies of joy and compassion as a means of communal resilience and environmental connection and regeneration.

As a yoga and somatic awareness facilitator, he invites others to tune into their relational ecologies and be present with the stories deeply encoded in their bodies—stories fundamental to our relational experience. Stories that invite us into deeper reciprocity with the land, waters, and skies that sustain us all.
